If 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears' was a musical, I'm pretty sure there would be a scene a little like this...
My creative 6 year old announced months before his birthday that he 'needed' a guitar, and he wanted one just like his stepdad's.
So... it seems that the guitar fairy was listening, and not only did he get the baby one sent to him by his musical father who lives interstate, but a lovely friend remembered that she had the middle sized one gathering dust in her shed, and sent that home for him too.
Suddenly a 1 guitar family has exploded into a 3 guitar family almost overnight!
And I'm pleased to say that he's taken to playing it like a duck takes to water! He was even overheard telling a friend at school that he's having 'private guitar lessons'... Well I guess they ARE private. His stepdad has been showing him a few 'tricks' after school...
So big thank you to Musical Child for fostering a young child's love of music. We blame you entirely for our growing collection of instruments!
